Quilt Day 2009!

Open to all Naples Quilt Guild members and their guests. Bring your daughter, or mother or your sister or invite the neighbor who would like to learn about quilting.

There will be quilt related displays!

Demonstrations and Workshops

Morning and Afternoon.

There will be LOTS OF GREAT door prizes that you won’t want to miss! The guild library will have books for sale. Bring your own lunch and we'll provide dessert!

QUILT DAY 2010

After playing Bingo and winning prizes, we split into teams to work on the 2011 Raffle Quilt blocks and used the Bingo Cards to make some fun and creative Shelter Quilts.

TEAM ONE CREATED THIS TOP USING THE "WINNING" BINGO CARDS

TEAM TWO USED LOUISA SMITH'S PATTERN TO CREATE THESE SWIRLING CIRCLES

TEAM THREE:   OH NO! ALICE GAERTNER TOOK THE BLOCKS HOME BEFORE WE COULD PHOTOGRAPH THEM. HOW FAR WILL SHE GET BY THE APRIL MEETING

QUILT DAY 2011

Cheran Crosdale reported on 2011 National Quilt Day.

There were at least 60 ladies in attendance.

We had four teachers who volunteered their skills in demonstrations.

Thank you sew much!

Two Quilts of Valor—made by the attendees of NQD—were also shown

and will be delivered to local soldiers.

The quilts were accompanied by pillow cases which were made by Mo Bonner.
